For example if you have the right half of the shield then you will get 2 right half certificates. Now that you and your friend have 2 certificates trade him and give him one of your certificates and tell him to give you one of his, so that you have one for the right half and Runescape Items one for the left half. Now put the certificates together by using them on each other. It will become one certificate. Now go to Varrock Castle and talk to King Roald and you will get your reward. You will get 1 quest points and 600 coins for completing this quest.
